How do I change my temporary Certainty password?

When you are first given access to your instance of Certainty, you are provided with a username and generic password. Once you have logged in, the first thing you should do is change this generic password to ensure the security and protection of your company’s data.

You can change your password using the Mobile App, .mobi and the Admin Portal.

Changing your password in the Mobile App and .mobi

To change your password in the Mobile App (.mobi works the same way):

  1. Click on the 'Account Settings' icon in the top right corner of the screen.
  2. Choose ‘Change Password’.
  3. Enter your 'Current Password'.
  4. Enter a ‘New Password’ and ‘Confirm New Password’.
  5. Click ‘Save’.
  6. You can now log in using your new password.

Changing your password in the Admin Portal

  1. Click the ‘Account Settings’ icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
  2. Select ‘Password Reset’.
  3. The ‘Manage your account’ page will open in a new tab.
  4. Fill out your current password.
  5. Fill out and confirm your new password.
  6. Click ‘Update password’.
  7. You can now log in using your new password.
