How do I transfer responsibilities from one User to another?

You can transfer user responsibilities in bulk from one user to another in scenarios such as extended employee leave or organizational changes.in the Admin Portal in 'Administration - Users & User Groups.' You can transfer either all responsibilities or specific responsibilities within a designated timeframe. 

Transferring responsibility between users

You can transfer user responsibilities in bulk from one user to another in scenarios such as extended employee leave or organizational changes. You can transfer either all responsibilities or specific responsibilities within a designated timeframe.

To transfer responsibility from one user to another;

  1. Make sure you have the ‘User - Bulk Transfer’ role.
  2. Go to 'Users & User Groups – Users'.
  3. In the table find the user you want to transfer responsibilities from.
  4. Select ‘Transfer responsibility’ in the 'Options' menu on the right hand side of the row.
  5. The ’Transfer responsibility’ form will open.
  6. Select a ‘New responsible user’.
  7. Select which responsibilities to transfer.
  8. Click ‘Save’.

These are the responsibilities you can move from one user to someone else:

Completed Checklists: Transfer ownership of completed checklists, ensuring smooth handoffs and seamless continuity in your workflow.

Additional Users: Transfer to different users where someone was added to access and collaborate when completing checklists.

Scheduled Events: Reassign scheduled events to ensure timely completion by a different user.

Action Responsibility: Delegate action responsibilities to the appropriate users, maintaining accountability and effective task allocation.

Site Manager: Seamlessly transfer site management responsibilities, ensuring the smooth transition of oversight and control.

Supervisor: Transfer reporting relationships, ensuring clarity and accurate hierarchy within your organizational structure.

User Groups: Easily replace users within different user groups, optimizing team collaboration and access.

Automatic checklist and action notifications: Transfer recipients for checklist and action notifications, ensuring relevant parties stay informed.

Permission to view: Transfer who can view workflow steps to the right individuals.

Permission to edit: Transfer who can edit in workflow steps to the right individuals.
